I see no blues on the horizon
A solo about the moment you say I'm fine, and the body says otherwise.
Here blue is worn: a weight that can be taken off, but that changes the shape of whoever carried it.

CONCEPT, MUSIC, PERFORMANCE
Davide Degano (Udine, 1993) is a dancer, choreographer and composer based in Cologne. He trained at Axis Danza, Balletto di Toscana, Formazione Bartolomei and PNSD Rosella Hightower in Cannes, then danced for several seasons in the ensembles of Stadttheater Pforzheim and Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, where he created his first choreographies.
Since 2020 he has worked freelance. As a performer he dances for Billinger & Schulz, SHIBUI collective, XXTanztheater and other companies of the German independent scene. As a composer he writes music for dance, including M.O. – M.oving O.thers by Giovanni Sabelli Fioretti (Uferstudios Berlin, 2025), (In)Edith by Ermanno Sbezzo (Orsolina28, 2025), First Class Experience and MUSE (2026). His short film Paesaggi brillanti, profumi dimenticati (2023) was selected for DANCINEMA, Greenwich Film Festival and Boreal Screendance Festival.
I see no blues on the horizon, produced with Perypezye Urbane, is his first full-length work as author of concept, music and performance.
Katja Koch
COSTUME & SET
Katja Koch (born 1994) is a costume and knitwear designer and lives near Cologne. Although she originally studied theatre studies, she was more interested in practical work and therefore went on to study scenography (HfG Karlsruhe); she subsequently worked as a costume assistant at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Bonn Opera.
As well as designing for the theatre, she has also created costumes for films such as Eine Maschine fliegt in die Luft (2022) and So much water, so close to home (2023) by Minh Anh Ngyuen.
Her work and research focus on themes of intersectional feminism (for example, her short film Oath, about abortion, was selected for the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival), with an emphasis on how knitting and crocheting can function as forms of political expression.

ARTISTIC SUPPORT
Giovanni Sabelli Fioretti is a dance curator, dramaturg, choreographer working between Berlin and Italy, with a long-standing involvement in the independent contemporary dance scene. His work is situated at the intersection of body, dramaturgy and emerging technologies, with a specific interest in how computational systems and artificial intelligence redefine presence, imagination and the relationship with the audience.
He studied dance in New York, Brussels and Milan, including at Movement Research and the Accademia Paolo Grassi, and also trained in philosophy at the University of Siena and in philosophical counselling at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
In 2023–2024 he created Mother, a project exploring the relationship between AI and the maternal/creative figure through a live image system responsive to the performers’ movements, developed with Stream Diffusion. The work also offers a critical reflection on AI bias in relation to body and gender.
In 2025 he created M.O. (M.oving O.thers), which premiered at Uferstudios Berlin and was supported by the Senate Department of the German capital. In this work, the audience intervenes in real time through textual prompts, contributing to the generation of visual and sound environments.
Alongside his artistic work, he is active as a curator and cultural project designer, with extensive experience in developing digital formats and content for the performing arts.
