ABOUT THE WORK
I'm Blues is the research name for what will become I See Blues on the Horizon — a solo dance and installation piece by Davide Degano, currently in early development.
The research explores categories of movement, body language, and sound, each connected to a specific emotional state, testing how they can be composed, taken apart, and rebuilt. Maggie Nelson's Bluets — a book built from 240 propositions about the colour blue, accumulating rather than narrating — offers a working method for this: can movement and sound, structured the same way, become a way to tell a chaotic period of a life without telling it as a straight story?
The research began from a personal experience — the end of a relationship — but reaches for something wider than that one story: how societal constructs of masculinity shape what a man is allowed to feel and say, and what happens once that construct no longer holds. The difficulty, as a man, of naming emotions and sharing them; the desire, as a queer man, to do exactly that — these two tensions are the starting points of the research, which stages feeling blue as a total bodily experience and brings to the stage a masculinity that allows itself to be fragile.

Luigina Gressani
(She - Her) Architect - Installation artist
Architect and artist, Luigina Gressani carries out personal research on modes of perceiving and experiencing space. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and completed a Master’s in Psychology of Architecture and Landscape at the University of Padua (in partnership with IUAV Venice), with a thesis on accessible mountain trails. She currently collaborates with Robby Cantarutti and Partners and is a research fellow at the University of Udine. She is co-founder of the association A+AUD and actively participates in artistic collectives. In 2023 she presented the project Anelli di crescita at the Smach Biennale in the Dolomites, in collaboration with Collettivo Lidriis. Her training in dance began at the age of eight; she studied at Balletto di Toscana and now teaches modern and contemporary dance in Udine. Among her multidisciplinary collaborations are projects with artist Carlo Vidoni and musician Mirko Cisilino.

(They -Them) - Sound Artist / Music Co-creator
Andras_2020 is a rising figure in Europe’s burgeoning electronic music scene. Their sound combines the sonorous ripples of their Latin America with experimental pop, deconstructed club music and avant-garde. With influences that range from Brazilian funk to hyperpop, Andras’ music features lyrics that encompass explicitness, clashing with hard hitting drums and their soft falsetto. Originally from Brazil, the artist garnered a dedicated following after releasing their intricate and textured debut EP, “Cuerpo Temperamental (acting in concert),” in 2021 and their multiple features on the Mutants Mixtape Compilation, initiated by Venezuelan pioneer Arca. This success was followed by the Cuerpo Tour, which saw Andras enthralling audiences across Europe and the UK for nearly two years. As a live performer, Andras’ work amalgamates contemporary dance and club culture. Their performances fuse the visceral materiality of the body, violent screams, and poetry, exploring themes of survival and physical transformation, contrasted with the gentleness of soft pop live aesthetics. Motivated by a desire and natural ability to fuse personal experiences with creative expression, Andras released “Blowhole” for Rest Now! (Berlin) in October, 2024. The title candidly contrasts the concept of inhaling and exhaling through a hole, like cetaceans, with anal pleasure and its associations with queerness and discomfort.
Andras’ second studio record features collaborations with thrilling artists such as Bristol-based Sarahsson and MICHAELBRAILEY.

Giovanni Sabelli Fioretti
(He -Him) -Dramaturg
Giovanni Sabelli Fioretti is a dance curator, dramaturg, choreographer working between Berlin and Italy, with a long-standing involvement in the independent contemporary dance scene. His work is situated at the intersection of body, dramaturgy and emerging technologies, with a specific interest in how computational systems and artificial intelligence redefine presence, imagination and the relationship with the audience.
He studied dance in New Y ork, Brussels and Milan, including at Movement Research and the Accademia Paolo Grassi, and also trained in philosophy at the University of Siena and in philosophical counselling at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
In 2023–2024 he created Mother, a project exploring the relationship between AI and the maternal/creative figure through a live image system responsive to the performers’ movements, developed with Stream Diffusion. The work also offers a critical reflection on AI bias in relation to body and gender.
In 2025 he created M.O. (M.oving O.thers), which premiered at Uferstudios Berlin and was supported by the Senate Department of the German capital. In this work, the audience intervenes in real time through textual prompts, contributing to the generation of visual and sound environments.
Alongside his artistic work, he is active as a curator and cultural project designer, with extensive experience in developing digital formats and content for the performing arts.
Giuseppe Esposito
(He -Him) - Support for creation
Giuseppe Esposito is founder and co-director of Perypezye Urbane, which he established in 2005. He conceives and coordinates national and international projects in the fields of dance and digital cultures, and has been working in dance production for 15 years.
He studied contemporary dance at Tilt / Ariella Vidach AIEP, continuing his training with Ornella D’Agostino’s three-year programme L ’Arte del Percepire, and studied improvisation with Kirstie Simson, Khosro Adibi and Lutz Gregor. He completed his artistic training with the Trisha Brown Dance Company and at Movement Research in New Y ork, working with Jeremy Nelson, Luis Lara Malvacias, Vicky Shick, John Jasperse and Juliette Mapp.
He is the co-creator of DanceMe, the first artistic creation app for dance in Italy to be recognised by the Italian Ministry of Culture — MiC — in 2017. In 2019, he co-directed DanceMe UP , an EU-funded project dedicated to dance creation in virtual environments.
He curated ten editions of Solo in Azione, a festival held in Milan with the support of the
Municipality of Milan and Regione Lombardia and is now co-curator of the contemporary
dance festival Venere in T eatro, which takes place yearly in Venice. He holds a degree in
Foreign Languages and Literatures and completed a Master’s programme in European
Project Design and Access to EU Funding at the Sole24Ore Business School.
